  • Dave + Sandy Wedding

    June 23rd, 2010

Dave’s son and Drew have played soccer and baseball since they were little. As a result, Dave and I spent considerable time together and got to know each other very well. Dave is a genuinely nice guy. My wife and I invited Dave to go to church with us and that’s where he met Sandy. Sandy had been attending our church for some time and I noticed the big hook-up at the Super Bowl party. They began to date and Dave eventually popped the question. They asked me to capture their special day. Dave + Sandy, I’m thankful for the opportunity to photograph your wedding but I’m more thankful for your friendship. Here are a few…

    Jr. Warriors Baseball

    June 23rd, 2010

I was finally able to take my camera to a Jr. Warriors baseball game last night and grabbed a few pics. I’m very proud of the development of the boys this season. This is the first season that they have played full blown baseball and we are currently in second place and made it to the championship game in the only tournament we have played.

    Lyndsay + Ricky Engagement

    April 13th, 2010

Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to hang out with Lyndsay and Ricky. I’ve known Lyndsay since she was very young and now she’s going to St. Louis College of Pharmacy (ok…I feel old now). Her mom is the ministry assistant at my church. Ricky went to good old Triad Middle School so I know he’s developing into a fine young man.

    Easter Session

    April 13th, 2010

These beautiful kids all take after their dad (just not in the looks category)…Here are some Easter shots from the local park.

    Morgan + Josh Wedding

    April 12th, 2010

Last fall, before the infamous “Blog Crash of 2009″ I had the opportunity to shoot Morgan + Josh’s wedding in Staunton, IL. Everything is finally working and I’ve finally been able to show off some cool images.

    Harris Family

    April 5th, 2010

Last fall, I had the opportunity to hang out with the Harris family.  I played Little League and High School baseball with Donald, the father, and we all attend church together.  I am posting this session now because I had some major blog issues and I finally had the time to fix them.

    Wilson Family

    October 21st, 2009

Last Sunday, I had the opportunity to hang out with Ann, Keith, and their son Ben. We walked around the park and took in the beginning of the fall color. Here are a few favorites from their session.

    Oney Family

    August 7th, 2009

A few weeks back, I had the pleasure to hang out with the Oney Family…unfortunately, a strong storm wanted to hang out with us as well. I took about 4 or 5 shots (in the lightning) before we decided to reschedule and barely beat the storm as we raced back to their car…yes, their car. I locked my keys in my truck right before a major thunderstorm (i’m a genius…). Luckily, the Oneys had enough room for me in their vehicle until my wife could drive up and bail me out. We rescheduled a few days later and everything went great!

    I Made The Paper!

    July 29th, 2009

The Suburban Journals of Madison County used one of my shots from the SWISA Dive Championship from this past Saturday. Unfortunately, they grabbed a low resolution shot and tried to blow it up. Oh well… My son won his 2nd straight SWISA Diving Championship. Yes, I’m a proud dad! Here is a higher resolution version of the shot they used in the paper.

    Phelps Family

    July 22nd, 2009

Last week, I had the opportunity to shoot a family session with some friends Sarah & Jesse and their son at the SIUE Gardens. Jesse develops software applications for a company out in West County. When I have a computer problem above my head, he’s the guy I go to. Sarah is a teacher in a wonderful school district…Triad. See if you can spot the deer in one of the pictures…it was cool to be able to capture it.
